A Meditative Memorization of John 14:20
In our previous episode, “You Are In Union with Him,” I taught on John 14:20 and emphasized its importance in the life of a believer. In this episode, you’ll have an opportunity to commit that verse to memory. Each time we repeat the verse, ”On that day, you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you,” the words will settle deeper into your spirit. With each repetition, the passage will become more familiar, and more intimate, until it’s a natural part of your inner dialogue. This episode isn’t just an exercise in scripture memory; it’s an invitation to weave this verse into your mind and heart and carry its truth with you wherever you go. Hey friends, it's Michele. If you listened to my previous episode entitled, "You Are in Union with Him," and you really liked the verse that I taught on in that episode, which was John 14, verse 20, and you'd like to memorize that verse, which I highly recommend, then this is the episode for you. I'm going to dedicate this entire episode to helping you commit that verse to memory. So here's how this works. So I'm going to read a portion of the verse and then you can just repeat it after me, and then I'll read another portion of the verse and you can repeat it after me, and so on and so forth, until we get through it a few times and I think you'll be well on your way to having it memorized. So here we go. We're going to do it in the New International Version.
